MOONSHOT
the ×10 ticket. one 5 second round. pick MOON or DUST, and the price has to launch past a bar. a hit pays ×10.
MOONSHOT is live on the devnet beta: SOL 5 s tickets at play.dust.bid, with test money. mainnet comes later.
| the ticket | one round, 5 seconds |
| coin | SOL at launch |
| your pick | MOON or DUST |
| a hit | pays ×10. $5 → $50 |
| a miss | the ticket is gone and mints $DUST like any loss |
how a ticket plays
- you click MOON or DUST.
- the opening half of the round sets a bar.
- the closing half has to launch past it. MOON needs the price to launch up past the bar. DUST needs it to launch down past it.
- past the bar and you hit. short of it and you miss.
nobody knows the bar at the click, not even the house.
what a ticket pays
- hit. a hit pays ×10, exact. $5 → $50. it pays USDC into your dust balance.
- miss. the ticket is gone, and the most you can lose is the ticket. a miss mints $DUST like any loss. see $DUST overview.
if the house cannot cover a win right now, the part it cannot cover waits in the line. see the house and the line.
when MOONSHOT is closed
MOONSHOT can be closed, and the app says why.
| the app says | what it means |
|---|---|
| MOONSHOT pauses around every full minute | a ticket cannot start near a whole minute. the app counts down to when it opens |
| MOONSHOT is paused · back after a check | MOONSHOT can be paused for a check when the house is hit hard. tickets already bought still settle |
| MOONSHOT is closed on this round | this coin and clock is not switched on |
| MOONSHOT opens when the payout line is empty | the line has wins waiting, so it waits until the line is clear. see the house and the line |
| MOONSHOT opens when the house can pay a ×10 | the house is too small right now to pay a ×10 on the smallest ticket |
a bigger ticket can also be refused on its own when the house cannot pay a ×10 on that size. go smaller, switch sides or wait.
if the price feed is not good enough
a ticket is called from the feed's prices during its round. if the feed was not good enough to call it, the ticket is not called. the stake comes back and the app marks it REFUNDED. the refund comes after a wait, not at once.
what is off in a ticket
no early exit, no take profit or stop loss, no limit orders. a ticket is bought and then it plays out to the end of its round.
limits
a ticket counts toward the same wallet limits as a DUST MODE round: how much margin you can have live at once, and how many rounds you can fire per minute.
